I am a proud NYC dweller by way of Johannesburg, South Africa and have been behind the chair for 10 years. I am constantly inspired by the ever-evolving nature of the current hair industry and the equally ever-evolving New York City. My training includes education from Sassoon, L'Oréal Professionnel, Redken, Schwarzkopf, Wella, Oribe and Kerastase. I primarily specialize in what I like to call “Blonding with Care” meaning I take extra time and steps in prioritizing hair heath and wellness on your way to your blonde goals. I also take immense pride in my work and, thus, strive to provide only the highest standard from the consultation through the blowdry, educating my clients along the way.

Hair lightening service utilizing a foiling technique that results in a more uniformly multi-dimensional look with lighter strands placed root through ends. Includes one toner, an Olaplex treatment* and a post-bleach acidic restorative* blowout.

BALAYAGE/HAND PAINTING

Hair lightening service utilizing a free hand painting technique that results in a gradient effect, typically appearing darker in the root and lighter on the ends. Recommended only for naturally lighter hair. Includes one toner, an Olaplex treatment* and a post-bleach acidic restorative* blowout.

FOILYAGE

Multi-technique, transformation service utilizing a balayage/babylight combo to achieve maximum blonding in one session. This technique results in soft and blended, multi-dimensional root area with a bolder and blonder end. Includes one toner, an Olaplex treatment* and a post-bleach acidic restorative* blowout.

DOUBLE PROCESS

ROOT MELT $35

Recommended add-on for highlight/babylight services. Root melts (or root shadows) are typically added to these services to blend out the line of demarcation from the highlights as your natural color grows in. By adding this service you get the best of all worlds- the lifting power and multi-dimensional effect of a foil highlight with the blend and low maintenance of a balayage.

Highly recommended for all bleach services. Olaplex is a two step, in-salon treatment that multiplies and perfects the disulfide bonds within the hair’s cortex that are responsible for supporting the overall hair structure and strength. By including Olaplex in all bleach formulas, we are significantly reducing the chance of breakage and preventing damage during and after lightening services.

what is A post-bleach acidic RESTORATIVE blowout*

While Olaplex is highly effective at preventing breakage, lightening hair can also cause dryness and increased porosity. This blowout is designed to treat these concerns by applying a heat-activated, leave-in treatment consisting of 5% Citric Acid and 10% Glycerin (a humectant) to restore moisture and PH levels, prevent breakage and aid in normalizing porosity.

Precision haircut for all. Long to short, pixies, bobs, textured hair, de-bulking, layering, texturizing. You name it, I’ve got you. Shampoo and blowout included.

FRIZZ FREE HEALTH

Same-day-wash keratin treatment for all hair types looking to eliminate frizz, reduce curl and cut styling/blowdry time in half. Restorative treatment that also repairs hair and boosts moisture in lost curly or color treated hair.

Blow-dry in treatment designed to soften and repair hair, regulate porosity levels and soften damaged hair cuticles caused by chemical processing, heat styling and "winter hair.” Hair is left visibly softer and shiner for up to 6 weeks (depending on how often you wash your hair).

Recommended for all bleach services/blonded hair. Olaplex is a two step in-salon treatment that rebuilds the bonds of the hair that are responsible for supporting the inner hair structure, therefore, reducing breakage and preventing damage during and after color services.

"JUST THE ROOTS" SINGLE PROCESS

Single solid root color applied to regrowth area of 4-8 weeks, typically to cover grays or touch up color that has been dyed darker the client's natural base. Blowout included.

ALL OVER SINGLE PROCESS

Single solid color applied base through ends resulting in a one-dimensional all-over color. Hair cannot be lightened with this technique. Blowout included.

Single toner applied to the root area to darken and blend away the line of demarcation from foil highlights create a soft, gradient effect.

  • Shampoo and condition as normal and then apply to slap using bottle nozzle and massage throughout entire head, let sit for 10 mins and rinse well. Can also be mixed in with conditioner.

malibu hard water treatment

  • To treat hair that’s been exposed to hard water.

  • Shampoo once, wet contents of packet in hands and apply to wet hair. Process under a shower cap for 15 minutes. Rinse, shampoo again, and condition.

malibu brightening treatment

  • Brightening and mineral build-up removal treatment for blondes.
